When we first started into dairy goats, we knew right away that the Lamancha breed was for us due to their sweet personalities coupled with their standard size which produces enough milk for a family. Our Lamancha breeding program focuses on milk quality and production, parasite resistance, and conformation. Our farming practices leads to a more parasite resistant animal since we practice rotational grazing, permaculture, and only deworming based on egg count, FAMACHA score, and body condition. We test yearly for CAE/Johnnes and continue to be negative.
